About MOISTURE SEPERATORE
A moisture separator is a device used to remove liquid water droplets (moisture) from a gas or steam stream. It is commonly used in steam systems, compressed air systems, and gas pipelines to improve efficiency and protect downstream equipment.
7How it works
Depending on the design, a moisture separator removes water using one or more of these methods:
- Centrifugal (cyclonic): The fluid spins, and heavier water droplets are thrown to the outer wall and drained away.
- Baffle type: The flow changes direction abruptly, causing water droplets to strike baffles and separate.
- Mesh or vane type: Fine droplets coalesce on a mesh or vane pack, forming larger droplets that drain by gravity.

Typical installation
