About LOW PRESSURE FILTER

• Suction / Intake Filters: Positioned directly on the intake or suction line ahead of a pump. They perform coarse filtration to shield the pump's internal impellers and gears from large debris. 
• Return Line Filters: Mounted on the final pipeline run where fluid discharges back into a reservoir tank. They catch all the fine internal wear debris accumulated across the active circuit before the fluid drops back into storage. 
• Bypass / Off-Line Filters: Independent secondary loops that continuously bleed off a small fraction of low-pressure flow, polish it through ultra-fine media, and return it to the main reservoir.
• Pneumatic FRL (Filter-Regulator-Lubricator) Units: Deployed on compressed air lines (usually maxing out at 10 to 12 bar) to strip moisture and solid particulates right before air tools or pneumatic actuators. 

• Bypass Valves: An internal mechanical relief valve (typically set to crack open at 1.7 to 2.5 bar of differential pressure). If the element completely plugs up with dirt, the valve cracks open to maintain steady system fluid circulation and prevent the element from bursting.
• In-to-Out Flow Element Design: Modern low-pressure cartridges (such as the Parker PT Series) route fluid from the inner hollow core outward. This traps all captured sludge securely inside the element tube, ensuring no dirt drops back down into the clean system when an operator pulls the filter out.
• Clogging Indicators: Visual pressure gauges or differential electrical micro-switches that signal an alert the moment resistance increases, signaling maintenance crews before a bypass occurs. 

• Mobile & Industrial Hydraulics: Deployed as tank-top or return-line filters on agricultural tractors, aerial lifts, turf equipment, and industrial machine tools.
• Compressed Air Distribution: Used inline across factory shop floors to trap bulk water droplets, rust scales, and compressor oil carryover.
• Automatic Fluid Pre-Treatment: Deployed as low-pressure backwash screen blocks for cooling tower loop circuits or municipal water intake lines.
